(Mexico City, 1981) She has received Master's Degree in Art History, specialty Curatorial Studies, by the Autonomus National University of Mexico (UNAM) and Bachelor of Arts from the Universidad del Claustro de Sor Juana. She has participated in various artistic creation and art criticism courses, among which are highlighted Five moments of the Art Critics (2013), Crisis of Art Critics and Introduction to Latinoamerican Art Critics (2014) at the University Museum of Contemporary Art (MUAC). In 2008 she began working as an academic link in Education Department of Centro de la Imagen (Image Center), where she collaborated in the coordination and selection process of the Contemporary Photography Seminar 2009 and 2010, as well as in the XIV Photography Biennial. During the same period she was in charge of the management, logistics and production of various forums and dialogue tables around the festival Fotoseptiembre 2009, the International Meeting of Photography Centers (2009-2010), the National Encounter of Photography Research (Centro of the Imagen-Center of the Arts of San Luis Potosí, 2010), the artistic residence The Grange Prize (Canada-Mexico, 2010) and the international workshops offered during the same years.
In 2011 she was part of the Exhibitions Area of the Museo del Palacio de Bellas Artes (Museum of Fine Arts) where she carried out the documentation and curatorial assistance in various exhibitions of the period 2011-2013, among which the research and selection of material for the Documentary Room linked to the exhibitions "German Expressionism: the Graphic Impulse" and "Edvard Munch: Graphic Symbolism" (2012). She collaborated in the curatorship of the exhibition "On the Giant´s shoulders" at the El Eco Experimental Museum (2014-2015) and at "Siete de Catorce" at the Tlalelolco University Cultural Center (2014-2015).
She has published texts such as "Identity through the Image" in the Fanzine Luz Viajera (2015), "About Divergence: First Fiction" Parteaguas Magazine. Edition No. 38 (2016) and "Duchamp and Beuys. The importance of uncomfortable characters in art", Asuntos del Arte. Manivela Editions (2018). Since 2017 she teaches Semiotics, Visual Language and Art History and has participated as a guest teacher with the talk What is Semiotics for? at the Universidad Iberoamericana. She is currently working as an art theory teacher in National School of Painting, Sculpture and Printmaking “La Esmeralda” as part of National Center of Arts (Mexico City) and is founder and curator of the independent project Red Generación Espontánea (2018) an international audiovisual network of collaboration and artistic diffusion.
