Gregory Borlein studied art at the academy of fine art in Munich and in Lisbon, where he also lives now, mainly he’s a classical painter who works with canvas but he also does sculptures, digital art and art Installations. His work is inspired but the search for the meaning of being human, being alive or just being without any mental narrative. His work is supposed to transmit a state of mind which he developed in his spiritual search and practice and therefore the artworks as manifestations of this state of consciousness are emitting a subtle presence that invites the watcher to the beyond, if word must describe it, but painting is still painting and not a book or a poem therefore the works should speak for themselves anyway.
