Known as “Coy”, was born in Brazil, on November 17th, 1985. Very creative since he was a child, he started making graffiti in the street with his friends. After graduation in Marketing & Advertising, he realized he wanted to improve his interest in art and began his career as a self-taught in the field of plastic arts, studying, visiting museums, reading books and continuously informing himself to become a professional. In 2014 he moved to Florence, Italy, and began to make contact with the essence of Occidental art. He works very hard also painting on canvas and his international career starts with an important collective exhibition at Le Murate Florence in 2015. His first solo exhibition was held in 2017 in Brazil. The exhibit of his series “Who art you? “ was a sales and media success. He participated in the exhibition “Presenze nell’Arte Contempo- ranea”, at the Basilica of San Lorenzo - Florence, Italy and was praised by specialized critics that considered him to be one of the emerging artists with a great potential. Today he continues to create large spray painted murals, large scale portraits of various types of characters with a style that is both realistic and caricatured. Another face of the multimedia artist is photography, which serves as inspiration for many of his paintings. The black & white images are dramatic and with a peculiar look.
