Re'al Christian is a writer and art historian based in Queens, NY. Her work has appeared in Art in America, ART PAPERS, Art in Print, BOMB Magazine, and The Brooklyn Rail. She has contributed artist texts to recent and forthcoming books published by the CUE Art Foundation, Performa, and the Hunter College Art Galleries. She currently holds research and curatorial appointments at the Hunter College Art Galleries, Dieu Donné, and the Robert Rauschenberg Foundation. She is an MA candidate in art history at Hunter College, and earned her undergraduate degree from New York University, where she double majored in art history and culture studies.
