Yudinela Ortega (Cuba,1990)
She is a cultural manager and curator of contemporary art.
Graduated in Art History from the University of Havana, Cuba (2013). She currently lives and works in Madrid, where studies a Master's Degree in Cultural Project Management at La Fábrica and Fundación Contemporánea.
She has been Visual Arts Specialist at Factoría Habana. Center for the Experimentation of Contemporary Art of the Office of the Historian of the City of Havana (2013-2016) and Specialist of the Villa Manuela Art Gallery (2016-2018). She has collaborated with exhibitions of Cuban artists and projects specialized in the promotion and commercialization of Cuban Art. She currently teaches Art Criticism and Art Consulting for Formación al Cuadrado and works on several curatorial projects independently.
She collaborates with specialized media such as Artishock Magazine, Arte Cubano Magazine, Noticias de Arte Cubano, Revolución y Cultura Magazine, ArtOnCuba Magazine, C de Cuba Art Magazine and in the websites: Hypermedia Magazine, Opus Habana, Arte al Límite, ArtOnCuba, Habana Cultural, Habana Patrimonial and the Boletín Ojeada del Centro de Arte Contemporáneo Wifredo Lam. She has curated exhibitions for Factoría Habana, Rubén Martínez Villena Gallery of the Office of the Historian of the City of Havana, Villa Manuela Art Gallery, Estudio Arsenal, R. Le Chansonnier and Art Code Space Gallery.
She has provided curatorial assistance, production management and museography for multiple exhibitions, such as: Beyond Beauty.
