Curatorial Expertise: Independent Curator

Biography

Zoë De Luca Legge is a half Italian, half Anglo-German curator and writer based in Milan. Her activity focuses on the overlays between slow practices, interdisciplinary studies and collective work, aiming to originate projects with critical, ecologic and transfeminist premises. She holds a BA in Art Markets’ Communication (with a degree thesis in Independent Art Publishing through History of Art, featuring a focus on the 00s-10s Italian scene) and attended the International Curatorial Program by NODE Center for Curatorial Studies. In 2011 she founded DIORAMA editions, an independent editorial project that published magazines, books and artist editions and took part at international art publishing fairs. In 2014, together with artist Andrea Magnani, she founded Siliqoon, an art label devoted to the production and the promotion of contemporary art; Siliqoon activities range from artistic residencies, exhibitions and workshops to Siliqoon Agency, an artist-run communication studio. In 2018 she launched PANORAMA Milano, a digital archive of studio visits with artists based in Milan. Member of Journalists’ Association’s Special Register since 2015, she collaborated with several magazines such as ATP Diary, CURA., Day Off, Domus, Flash Art Italia, L’Officiel, PIZZA Magazine, ZERO.
